Gordon was named a First Team All-State selection by both the AP and WFCA and was selected as the WFCA Offensive Player of the Year. He also won the Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch Award presented by WSN as the state's top senior running back after rushing for 2009 yards (12.7 yards per carry) and 38 touchdowns in leading Bradford to the Level 4 playoffs. Gordon was named WFCA honorable-mention all-state, WFCA all-region, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel first-team all-area, Kenosha News first-team all-Kenosha County and first-team all-conference after rushing for 1,061 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He also hauled in 11 receptions for 271 yards and four touchdowns through the air. Gordon put together strong performances at the Nike Combine and National Underclassmen Combine both of which were held in Chicago. Named to the Nike Combine all-combine team, Gordon achieved a SPARQ rating of 102.90 after recording a 4.56-second 40-yard dash, 4.31-second shuttle, 40.2-inch vertical jump and 32.5-foot power ball toss. He then posted a 4.52-second 40-yard dash, 4.31-second shuttle, 35-inch vertical jump, 126-inch broad jump and bench pressed 185-pounds 14 times at the National Underclassmen Combine.
